Figaro Beneteau 3

The Figaro BENETEAU 3 is the world's first series-produced monohull one-design foiler. The boat is the result of a successful collaboration between the best experts in the Beneteau Group and the Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP) design office, which was also responsible for the last two winning boats in the Vendée Globe.

The prototype is now under construction. The launch and initial tests are planned for summer 2017. The Figaro BENETEAU 3 belongs to the World Sailing Design Class A ISO.

The main characteristics of the new Beneteau 3, apart from the foils, are an extremely powerful hull, the absence of ballast tanks, a slim and deep keel, a mast positioned far aft and an extensive and large sail wardrobe.
