The First 14 is ideal as a beginner's dinghy and can be sailed single-handed or in pairs. The boat is the perfect introduction to the world of modern sailing. It is incredibly fun and easy to handle.
The self-tacking furling jib, the stable, wide hull and the spacious cockpit without any disturbing rigging guarantee unlimited fun on the water. The First 14 is powerful and stable even without a harness. The simple, robust equipment (aluminum mast, Dacron sails) is very easy to maintain.

The First 14 not only offers freedom on the water, it is also easy to transport on the car roof thanks to its detachable wheels and light weight. So you can discover secluded little bays and new favorite spots, the First 14 accompanies you everywhere without any problems. The hull is designed so that it can be stored upside down on the car roof; the mast can be removed and stowed in the boat together with the rest of the equipment. This leaves the trunk of your car free for other things.
